Scuttle!: Quick Look Into a Pirate Card Game for All Ages

Scuttle! is a quick and easy to play pirate themed card game for all ages starting at 6 +. In Scuttle!, you will either draw a card or play a card. Cards can be played as treasure or as an action, with each item of treasure having a different ability. You can play or steal treasure, add crew to guard your ship, or sneak onto another player’s ships to steal their treasure! The game comes with two Jokers – unique cards based on famous historical or fictional pirates. Long John Silver tricks your opponents into swapping hands with you, while Anne Bonny lets you draw more cards than anyone else! Reach 21 doubloons and win! (source)

The game Scuttle! seems really neat and is really simple. Most of the cards in the deck have a way to interacting with each other. For example, permanents such as additional points to win can be wiped out by cards that remove permanents. The game seems balanced and the artwork is graphical and zany for everyone to enjoy. It is currently on kickstarter and has funded so if you’re interested in picking up a copy head over to their Kickstarter.
