Fourth Friday Fun Fund Part 2

Today marks the second time I will be doing this Fourth Friday Fun Fund! Kickstarter Board Games thing. So let us get started. Today, We’ll be showing you videos and progress of some awesome new games that look great and seem promising. So check them out and see if they seem your type! All the content you see below is from each project’s kickstarter. I felt it would only make sense to have them tell you about their board games rather than hear my opinion on them. Why is this? I may not have played all of them and wouldn’t feel right giving my opinion on something I haven’t played, and if I have played it–I’d rather not share my thoughts on something I’d played when It’s being showcased next to something I haven’t played. With that being said, Enjoy!

Dice of Crowns is a fast paced blend of luck and strategy. It captures the conflict of a war of houses scrambling for succession, through how 7 Dice are rolled, and change hands. Deceptively simple to learn, advanced play offers tricky choices, allowing players to meddle with fate, up end possible victories, and thwart betrayal.

2- 8 player party card game where racing your friends to contract nasty diseases is your course to victory… Are you dying to win?

Outchasers is a 1v1 sci-fi strategy card game where players jump behind the controls of the ultimate weapon, a heavily weaponized mech capable of deep space travel. With supplies dwindling, your civilization is sending you to collect rare and powerful Cores in unexplored areas far from home. You brave the loneliest parts of space until you encounter the prize you’ve been sent for, but you’re not alone. Another pilot has arrived, but isn’t willing to leave empty handed either.

A triangular tile placing, tile manipulation, point to point movement, route building, dice rolling, competitive, “take that!” game, with a little area control, and press your luck along with variable player powers and variable phase order, will guarantee you’ll never play the same game twice.

Players will create trails up the mountain as they race for pole position. But this isn’t a straightforward race – it’s unique for two reasons.

Lab Wars is a unique card game where you get to recreate the spirit and fun of working in a lab and learn about historical scientific sabotage in the process!
